The carbon fiber radome produced by Junzhang Technology has half the weight of aluminum which has achieved the goal of weight reduction and also solved the problem of low self-balance and bending resistance. The carbon fiber radome has carbon fiber as inner and outer surfaces and the integration of high strength aluminum honeycomb and carbon fiber stiffener in the middle which grants carbon fiber composite radome with good stiffness, strength, impact strength and bending resistance. We suggest mixed design for radome composite and for radome in need of high strength, we use high strength and high modulus M40J carbon fiber while for radome not in need of high strength, we use T700 carbon fiber prepreg and 3k plain weave prepreg on the surface; therefore, improving surface tearing strength of the products while reducing the production cost greatly.
